Who is Construction Consulting (CC)

Founded by Bryan Kaplan in 2018, this brand focuses on educating and coaching residential remodelers and custom home builders (chb’s) from across Canada and the US. The brand creed is “Life is too short to learn from your own mistakes, so why not learn from mine”.

Bryan was a remodeler/chb for 21 years in Toronto, Ontario. Through his journey, he learned through the school of hard knocks what it takes to run a successful residential building company. As a red-seal certified carpenter himself, he understands it from the battleground first hand.

The services CC offers are primarily one on one consulting/coaching, group coaching programs, and digital products.

The road ahead for 2022 is to develop the group and products side of the brand and this is a core mission of the BDM.


Position Details

100% virtual/remote position

Part-time (with increase to full-time)


Position Specific Outcomes:

  • To create a high rate of completion of our online course [Not public for the posting]

  • Ensure collaboration between Bryan and other virtual teammates

  • To improve the client experience towards success through automated and regular check-in’s

  • To work collaboratively with our Social Media Manager to continue to develop brand strategy and awareness in the marketplace

  • To methodically capture new client leads through pre-existing channel strategies and to enhance and transform these processes towards consistency, automation, and repeatability

  • Not to become an expert in everything, but to recognize that you will be accountable for finding those individuals with the right experience to complete tasks assigned

What Will You Be Doing For CC?

  • Creating, adjusting, and maintaining the current and future client lead generation channels into systemized processes

  • Working directly in our LMS (learning management software), you’ll be strategizing and then implementing improvements to the client experience

  • Documenting every system into step-by-step processes on our platform

  • Helping to develop the brand into the products space

  • Mainly, alleviating a lot of the business activities Bryan does to enable him to focus on content creation, coaching, and other high output activities

  • Technical proficiency in Google Workspace

  • Open to learning and using the following platforms:

    • Active Campaign

    • Kajabi

    • Zapier

    • Vimeo

    • Squarespace

    • Canva

    • Circle

  • Marketing & branding experience

  • Administrative assistance with technical tasks and general business operations

Soft Skills:

  • Personable and friendly

  • Be able to work towards self-imposed/agreed-upon deadlines

  • Open-minded and willing to learn and develop (we are all about #growthmode here)

  • Fluent in English

  • Either a Canadian or American citizen

  • Willing to take part in live webinars and other events (no video or audio, technical support only)

  1. This is a part-time position with the goal to increase to full-time

  2. Pay will be commensurate with experience

  3. Starting anytime

  4. 100% virtual/remote position

  5. An employee position after 3 months (if in Canada), contract position if US-based
